Five nights in Athens for women in law.
Seven CPD points, a multi-disciplinary program, in the city where law first took shape.
Athens · 18–23 May 2027
Join a small group of women in law over long tables and on foot, earning CPD points in the surrounds of ancient law, modern style, and scenic Mediterranean beauty.
-
MIIRA designs insider led travel in Greece for women, and was co-founded by Sophia Kailis.
The 2027 program has been curated together with Neha Dubey, a barrister at Francis Burt Chambers.
-
We meet in Athens, where the idea of equal law was first argued in public and juries of ordinary citizens sat in the agora below the Acropolis.
Today, Athens is Greece at its most stylish: neoclassical streets, natural-wine cellars, rooftop bars facing the Acropolis, and a food scene that is inventive and unpretentious.

Tuesday 18 May 2027 - Saturday 22 May 2027
Seven CPD points (peer and guest presented) across a broad range of practice areas are woven through four days and five nights, over shared meals and on foot.
Between them: the Acropolis and its museum, a walk from Parliament to the central market, guided tours and cultural experiences, and a day trip down the coast to Nafplio - home to the country’s first parliament building and the early days of its constitutional government.
Beyond the program, your days are yours: a beach, a long lunch, a rooftop bar at dusk, and insider tips for off the beaten track.
A full itinerary will be provided in the coming months.
-
The program has been thoughtfully designed for senior women in law, in Australia or working abroad, who’d like to fulfil their CPD requirements in a beautiful and significant location with likeminded colleagues.
